K C Venugopal condoles Oomen Chandy’s passing away, says Opposition meeting to continue as decided

Congress general secretary K C Venugopal condoled the passing away of veteran party leader and former Kerala chief minister Oomen Chandy on Tuesday morning, calling it “the biggest loss for entire Congress and democratic movement of Kerala.”He added, “He (Chandy) was the leader of the mass. He had a hardworking attitude. There is no comparison of his workstyle in today’s Kerala politics. He never cared about his health and only worked for the people.”Referring to the Opposition meeting in Bengaluru, Venugopal said, “This is a larger-level meeting, with condolence we will continue the meeting, that’s what we have decided.”
